Anime in the Otaku Sense ♥

Anime.Japanese Animation. They say its only for kids., but hell., we adults like them too., even the ones who created them are adults., too. Some say we are already too old for watching anime, some say we are acting childish. Well., every time someone say that to me, I just ignore it., coz' it's definitely not true. We otakus' are definitely not too old for that.

♕ Anyway, What is an OTAKU?

According to wikipedia, an Otaku (おたく / オタク?) is a Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly anime, manga, or video games. Like me. I have been an otaku since I was born. Hehe. Everything about anime is genius, really. For me, the way they have been drawn meticulously., colored artistically and animated excellently; it is a Grand Masterpiece.

I love Anime. Anime is an art. And, Art is my Passion. I'm an artist at heart.

Love sometimes catches us at times we least expect it. We never notice it until we get hit. We can't control love and we certainly can't control of whom we fall in love with. It is like a mathematical equation: TRIAL and ERROR. We have to think carefully of what actions to take and how to follow them. Falling in love is like walkin' in the clouds but it can also feel like a tornado has just hit you or an aftermath of an earthquake; so you tell yourself to start all over again.

There's only one thing that I can say, and it is certainly based from experience.

"Don't let yourself fall before you learn the fact that no one is there to catch you."

La Corda d' Oro

The bells are ringing, or is it the chimes?
It seems so noisy but yet it rhymes..
How come music feels so divine
yet can be loud if so inclined.

Winds are rushing through the breeze
seems like velvet in my ears
River flowing to the seas
Whispers music and it still is.

A voice straining to that last note
"A mermaid's siren." That's what they quote.
A string long lost, so I was told.
But no, they're not. They're chords of gold.

Has Past been far so long?

Looking back at the times long gone, we sometimes think that maybe.. we should have done something to make the memory worth remembering. But since we can't take back a word already said, and undo an action taken, we must not waste our time crying over spilled milk.

I've just read a certain quote the other day, and it certainly caught my eye...  “One day at a time - this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.” They say, History repeats itself. It's certainly true. The things that happened in the past will happen again in ways we never expect. We have to learn how to learn from our mistakes so we can keep ourselves from doing it again.

Yes. Past has long gone. So now, it is time to moved on and appreciate the things we have now. Past is a reminder of what we used to be, and for now we can decide which way to choose since the future offers us every option imaginable.

Mozart at Heart, or is it Beethoven?

Define Music. Music is an art. Music is the language of our souls.  It breaks all kinds of barriers, whatever they may be. It is the easiest way to express what we feel. It can be classical, blues, rock, modern or, oh well, there are many of them. It's a good way to relax. Imagine sitting on a couch, listening to your favorite music while sipping on that favorite drink of yours and looking back at those past memories. What a good way to kill time you know, especially after a hectic schedule. Like me, since I'm still studying. Oops, I'm digressing. Anyway, music is for everyone. There is no need to be shy if you can't play an instrument perfectly or cannot play at all. It doesn't matter if you're melody's way too slow for a fast tempo. What matters is that you like what you're doing and not taking it for granted.

Childhood Days

Well., I was but a child when I use to like playing musical instruments but unfortunately, I'm not a child prodigy. I was seven when I received a gift from my parents. It was a flute. I learned how to play it and decided from then on that I want to be a flute player, or whatever that is called. But like other kids, there's just too many dreams we keep on dreaming that we lost count of which dream we really want to reach. Oh well., that I can say in my situation.

And Then...

I was in Sixth Grade when my cousin taught me how to play the piano. At first, I was confuse since I didn't pay much attention in learning how to play the piano. But you know, the longer I listened to each keys I played, the more I want to learn to play it. It feels nice listening to the melody a simple piece would do. Since then., I like to play the piano. I never had a formal lesson really. It was all self-taught, or is it self-study? Anyway., even though I am not an expert in playing the piano, I still want to learn a piece now and then. It was easy to learn how to play. The melody just fall into place especially when I love the piece I am playing.

It doesn't matter that you're a prodigy or not, as long as you play music by heart, you're a certified Mozart.

So when all else fails... Play.
